What’s the best strategy for snacking

Every time you snack, choose a combination of three food items. Each snack should contain some protein, some fiber, and some vitamins and minerals. For example, you could pair string cheese with cherry tomatoes and grapes, yogurt with carrots and crackers, or a hard-boiled egg with a banana and trail mix. Heck, have the occasional Twinkie if you need to—just make sure you enjoy it with a glass of milk and an apple.
